Halloween starts rustling around the Magic Kingdom

Halloween is almost here, or at least Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is almost here. The event starts September 13th and runs on select nights through September and October. Because MNSSHP is right around the corner, it’s no surprise that Halloween decorations are already making their way out into the Magic Kingdom.

Just a few minor things are now decorating some of the shops. By this weekend the whole park will have the Halloween theme in full effect, with some small exceptions.

Elsewhere in the park, of course Fantasyland construction continues to move on with new rocks being painted and work being done every day.

Over at the Art of Animation resort, it looks like we have a pool! And it also looks like rock work is going in around that pool.

I’m loving the colors that are involved here, and the overall energy of the hotel. It also looks like a lot of the characters are starting to flesh out on the sides of the buildings.

I definitely see some Finding Nemo influence here, and some Cars influence elsewhere.

We normally don’t toot our own horns when it comes to pictures, but we have to stop and give our photographer LC Hill some major props for capturing not only some great shots, but the energy and buzz that Disney creates. From gorgeous architecture, to random acts of song and dance, Disney goes out of the way to make the guests feel like they’re experiencing something special. Our LC manages to capture that feeling with this collection of random shots.
