Minions shine at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Super Silly Fun Land-At Night

Universal Studios Hollywood opened up their all new Super Silly Fun Land earlier this year. It’s been a huge hit at the park, with both Despicable Me:Minion Mayhem, and Super Silly Fun Land seeing huge crowds. It’s the first in a series of new attractions that will transform the park over the next few years. While many eyes are looking towards future projects, Universal Studios Hollywood is giving the Minions their time to shine in the spotlight…quite literally. We take a look around Super Silly Fun Land at night, and see how different it becomes.

During the day, Super Silly Fun Land is a huge water play area that is full of fun and rides. At night, however, it gets all new details added to it. From brightly lit eyes, to pastel colors and of course Minions, the area really seems to come alive.

While it may be time for Agnes, Edith and Margo to go to bed, Gru’s house is brightly lit, and still accepting applications for new minion recruits. Minions have specialty lights either wired into them, or spotlights on them to help light the way.

One extremely cool feature are the Minions on the Super Silly Fun Land entrance. The paintbrush is lit up, and gives the look that it’s full of different colors. In all the entire area just seems to come to life a little bit more at night. This is something that we can also look forward to when Springfield makes it’s big debut next year.

In addition to Super Silly Fun Land this year, and Springfield next year, Universal Studios Hollywood will also offer up an all new version of the Studio Tour when the sun goes down as well. It will feature all new lighting, and all new effects that you can only see at night.
