Brick or Treat, new hotel and more bricktastic happenings at Legoland Florida

Halloween at Legoland Florida is most certainly a great time of year. There is all kinds of spooky decorations as almost the entire park is transformed. The park also celebrates Brick or Treat during every Saturday and Sunday in October. If that wasn’t enough, the all new Legoland Hotel is well on it’s way to a 2015 opening. The most amazing thing about the hotel is that it’s literally steps away from the park. No trams or boats to take, you simply walk out of the hotel and into the park! Our own Mighty Keeper took a walk around the last weekend of Brick or Treat and had some bricktastic fun.

Weekends in October are full of Halloween fun at Legoland Florida, as they pass out buckets of candy for Brick or Treat. The fun is over for this year, as the last weekend of October has ended, but there’s still tons of spooky fun all this week as the park is literally dripping with Halloween.

From Lego ghosts and spiders hanging across the street, to massive pumpkin heads, and even a few little tips and nods in Miniland, Legoland goes all out for Halloween. While Halloween is present in every little nook and cranny, there’s nothing scary at all about it.

The park does really a great job capturing the old school feel of Halloween while staying true to it’s mission of being completely family friendly. Even the smallest of the small fries won’t get spooked. Honestly it’s really hard to when you have cute characters made of Lego hanging around.

Elsewhere in the park, The Legoland Florida Hotel is busy under construction. The new hotel is literally in the front of the park, just steps away from the gate. The new hotel will feature four different themes in their rooms-Pirate, Kingdom, and Adventure. The fourth theme is a secret, and we’ll have to wait for the big reveal.

The all new hotel will open in Summer of 2015, and will complete the conversion of Legoland Florida into an official Resort. The new hotel will have tons of Lego models, as well as lots of family friendly, kid friendly options.
