Knott’s Merry Farm kicks off this weekend with family fun, Santa and Snoopy!

                             

Knott’s Merry Farm is a holiday tradition in Southern California that spans decades. The theme park mixes the traditions of Christmas with Southern California theme park fun. This year Knott’s is bringing an all new Christmas show that families will love, as well as some returning favorites. The holidays kick off November 22nd and will aim to make your season brighter!

From classic shows, to shopping and even world famous food, Knott’s is making Christmas bigger than ever this year. A returning favorite, Christmas on Engine 41 will see a revolving cast of Ghost Town residents climb on board the classic railroad, and share their holiday traditions. From stories, to singing, it’s a fun Yuletide tradition.

Ghost Town transforms into Christmas Crafts Village, and will feature tons of gifts, shopping from dozens of local merchants with unique ideas.

Entrance to the Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village is free Monday through Thursday and is included with daily theme park admission Friday through Sunday (available November 22 through January 4, 2015). Ghost Town also celebrates of the sounds of the season with the Dickensian vocal quartet. In the intimate setting of Ghost Town’s historic Bird Cage Theatre, catch a live performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol or O. Henry’s A Gift of the Magi.

When the sun sets on the Farm, the buildings and paths in Ghost Town’s Main Street will be filled with glow and snow! Thousands of sparking lights will dance to the beat of familiar holiday music while snow gently falls in this spectacular one-of-a-kind moment each night.  Another nighttime tradition at Knott’s Merry Farm is Snoopy’s Merriest Tree Lighting show on the Calico Square Stage. This whimsical tree lighting features a cast of marching Toy Soldiers, dancing Snowmen, and America’s most famous beagle, Snoopy!

Camp Snoopy also becomes a holiday wonderland as  a brand new ice spectacular, Merry Christmas, Snoopy! happens inside of the 2,100 Charles M. Schulz Theatre. In this exciting new show filled with whimsy and spectacular skating, Snoopy enjoys all of the best parts of the season, including trimming the Christmas tree, awaiting Santa’s arrival, and attending the festive Christmas Ball!

For the second year, Santa’s Christmas Cabin returns where guests can share their wish lists with jolly ol’ St. Nick and take home a picture of the occasion.  Indulge in holiday delights like Santa’s homemade cookies, mouthwatering pastries, winter wine, craft beer, and more.

 

There’s tons more happening this year at Knott’s Merry Farms for the holidays. The fun kicks off this weekend, November 22nd and runs until January 4th. The fun also coincides with the 25th annual Military Appreciation Days and the Fire and Police Recognition Days.

The free-admission offer applies to all U.S. veterans, retired and active military personnel and their spouse (or one guest.)  Up to six additional tickets may be purchased at Knott’s Ticket Booths for only $24 each from November 2 -21 and for $29 each November 22 through January 4, 2015.  Military personnel may also purchase additional tickets at a participating local Military ticket office.

Knott’s Berry Farm’s 21st Annual Fire and Police Recognition Days.  As a thank you to all the men and women who assist in protecting life and property, Knott’s Berry Farm extends free Park admission to all active fire and police personnel and one guest. From November 22, 2014 – January 4, 2015 up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $29 each. January 5 – 31 up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $24 each.
