Frozen fun coming to Disney Cruise Line later this year

Frozen is getting out of control. The film has taken over almost every single aspect in Disney theme parks, with a spot in many of the parades, a sing along show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland. The characters from the film gave Cinderella Castle a Frozen makeover at Christmas, and the Norway Pavilion at Epcot is getting a Frozen ride. What next? It appears that Disney Cruise Line is next as they have announced an all new, and most ambitious takeover to date.

The fun starts with the Disney Magic. The ship’s all new show “Disney Dreams, and Enchanted Classic” will take the friends from Frozen and mix them with several of the other Disney characters in a classic tale that teaches a young girl the power that dreams hold. The Frozen gang will help with renditions of several songs, including “Let it Go”.

On select Disney Magic and Wonder sailings to Alaska and Europe, the day will be filled with a “winter wonderland” as the ships are transformed. The fun continues at night with the deck party “Freezing the night away with Anna, Elsa and friends”. The Frozen sisters, as well as several friends will be on hand to party the night away.

All four ships will have Frozen meet and greets, with Olaf, Anna and Elsa. The meet and greets are hugely popular in the parks, and at least on the ship there is only a limited number of guests, so we shouldn’t expect any four hour waits…right?

Then, if you still want more, Frozen is taking over Norway. Yes, we know that the film is already taking over the World Showcase pavilion at Epcot, but now Frozen is literally taking over Norway! The Disney Magic will take cruisers on an all new Port Adventures tour to Alesund, Norway. The adventure will immerse guests into the beauty and wonder of Norway, of course with the help of Anna and Elsa by creating an enchanting storybook village. Yes…they are taking over an actual village in Norway.

And nothing says Frozen fun like a day on a Caribbean island. Castaway Cay will feature Olaf’s Summertime Freeze Bar, which will serve non alcoholic drinks to the younger crowd.  “Olaf’s Flurry Freeze,” “Sven’s Carrot Delight” and “Warm Hugs” will all be new drinks just for Castaway Cay.
