If you’re a Harry Potter fan, things are pretty amazing. You can travel to Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express from London, you can even shop in Diagon Alley, and attend a class at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry…at Universal Orlando. The one thing you couldn’t do was have Christmas dinner in the Great Hall. Until now. The Warner Brothers Studio Tour London will be offering a huge new, very limited experience this December, and you just may get to spot a house elf.
The Warner Brothers Studio Tour-London will be hosting the “Dinner in the Great Hall” which will allow guests to sit on the set used for the first Harry Potter film, for Christmas dinner. The experience will include props, flaming puddings, and much more. It’s a unique experience that is only happening once, on Thursday December 3rd.
Here’s some more highlights:
- Explore the Studio Tour, admiring sets such as the Gryffindor common room and the Weasley’s kitchen at The Burrrow, which will also be dressed as they were for winter scenes.
- Enjoy a selection of three festive dessert bowls on Platform 9 ¾, alongside the original Hogwarts Express.
- Drink Butterbeer in the backlot café and walk up the wizarding shopping street, Diagon Alley, before taking in the breathtaking Hogwarts castle model (covered in a layer of filmmaking snow especially for the festive season).
- Finish the evening with music and dancing, with a bar provided for those who wish to purchase additional drinks.
