Star Wars- The Force Awakens opening night event will let guests preview Season of the Force offerings

It was announced earlier today that tickets would go on sale for Star Wars-The Force Awakens on Monday, October 19th. Hidden in all the hype for Star Wars tickets, and trailers was a little blurb about an opening night party that would not only give you tickets to one of the most anticipated films of the last ten years, but also exclusive access to Star Wars themed fun at Walt Disney World, after hours. It also looks like this will be a preview of the all new “Season of the Force” which is scheduled to hit Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2016.

The Disney Parks Blog has released a few more details on what the special Star Wars Opening Night ticket will entail, and it looks like a lot. The evening will start off at Disney Springs, for a 7p.m. screening of Star Wars-The Force Awakens. Afterwards, guests who purchase the ticket will be able to enjoy an exclusive after hours party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where they will be able to experience a huge Star Wars Celebration.

Guests will get a special commemorative ticket for the event, and will have access to the all new Star Wars Launch Bay, which will feature tons of Star Wars merchandise, memorabilia and Star Wars characters. The party will also give guests access to Star Tours, which will include new scenes shot for The Force Awakens. There will also be a live DJ, Star Wars Dance Party, and access to all the fun until 2 a.m.

Here’s where the preview of Season of the Force comes in.

Guests will be among the first to see a special preview for a new Star Wars Fireworks show, which will be set to Star Wars music. There will also be food and beverage locations, which will sell (we assume) Star Wars themed goods.

This is something that daily guests will not get to see and experience until Season of the Force begins later in 2016.

Tickets for the event start out at $94 dollars. There are no additional discounts for passholders, and the tickets are extremely limited.

The link for tickets is up, but the link is not active just yet. The link will go live, once tickets go on sale, and you can find it by clicking here!
