Patriots’ James White going to Disney World Monday!

Tom Brady might have gotten the MVP of this year’s nail biting Super Bowl, but it was running back James White who saved the day. The Patriots’ victory over the Atlanta Falcons was one of the greatest comebacks and biggest upsets in Super Bowl history, and it wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for White and his 14 catches for 110 yards, and three touchdowns. He was the one who scored the game winning touchdown in overtime. Say what you want about the Patriots, but that was a hell of a game, played by one hell of a player.

So what is James White doing next?

If you said “Going to Walt Disney World”, then you know the tradition. For over 30 years the winning team has visited Walt Disney World or Disneyland after the Super Bowl victory. Monday James White will join Mickey and his Pals for a victory parade down Main Street U.S.A.

He will get the star treatment, in a confetti filled explosion down Main Street. It’s the fourth time that the Patriots have had a team member in the parade since 2002, which ties a record. No other team has had more than four players in the annual parade. Will the Patriots and Disney pair up for a 5th? We’ll see next year.
