Mission:Space reopens August 13th at Epcot with a new mission

It was announced a few weeks ago at Disney's D23 Expo that Mission:Space would be getting a huge upgrade. But we weren't exactly sure what. Now we are.

All new high definition imagery will be coming to the Orange Mission that will be give guests a more intense experience. But, that's not all!

Guests will also be able to go on a different mission on the green side that will take them on an orbit around the planet.
Guests will be able to see the Hawaiian Islands, Italy’s boot and the Northern lights. Then guests will finally land at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Also younger guests from 40-44 inches can now ride Mission Space with the help of new "booster" seats.
