Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras rolls out first artists for 2018

Throw me somethin mista! Universal Orlando is rolling into February with their massive annual Mardi Gras! The annual party will celebrate the Big Easy with larger than life floats, authentic Cajun food and bands straight from New Orleans. The parade kicks off nightly during the event, which is running for more days than ever in 2018.

The highlight to Mardi Gras every year are the huge concerts, which are all free with paid admission to Universal Orlando which happen on select Mardi Gras nights. While we have yet to see the full line up, we do have a look at the first bands in the site to be huge line up! The bands were released via the passholder news letter earlier this week.

Feb. 10: Beach Boys (“California Girls,” “Good Vibrations”)

Feb. 17; Kelsea Ballerini (“Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Peter Pan”)

Feb. 18: Andy Grammer (“Honey, I’m Good”)

March 17: Foreigner (“Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “I Want to Know What Love Is”)

The passholder newsletter gives us the second week, and what is likely the first double header of the event. We’re still missing the first week, then almost a month’s worth of concerts in February and March.

We can’t wait to see the full line up, and we really can’t wait to see what changes are in store for this year’s parade! Last year saw a redesign of several floats, and this year will more than likely see the same.

The event will run every single night from February 3rd until April 7th, making it the biggest Mardi Gras yet.
