Disney announces $2 billion Euro expansion at Disneyland Paris

Huge news coming from Disneyland Paris, as the resort will roll out a multi-year expansion at their Disney Studios Park. The expansion will see three new themed lands to the park, including Frozen, Star Wars and Marvel areas.

“We’re very excited about the future of Disneyland Paris and continue to invest in its long-term success,” said Iger. “The resort is already the leading tourist destination in Europe, and the transformative expansion we announced today will add even more of our beloved characters and unparalleled storytelling to create new lands, attractions, and entertainment that further elevate the guest experience and drive new opportunities for tourism in this dynamic region.”

The lands will open in phases, beginning in 2021 and will be centered around a lake that will divide the three new areas and will also be the home to new shows.

It’s already been announced that the Paris version of Rock n Roller Coaster will be rethemed from the current Aerosmith theme to a Marvel theme. There’s a good chance there will be other clones as well, such as The Iron Man Experience.
